Design Process
I applied the five planes design process from the book
Elements of User Experience and the double diamond model to develop a product that inculcates 4 elements of a habit forming product drawing on insights from the Hooked model.
Dividing the projects in to 5 main states of the 5 planes post building the prototype I conducted Usability tests and Rapid validation experiments of the product to ensure its effictivenss.

The Hooked model consists of 4 stages trigger, action, variable reward & Investment required to form a habit forming app. Along with peers we analyzed common actions day to day habit forming applications have and created an affinity map which connects all four stages in the end.

VIEW STORYBOARD
Storyboard
Post the secondary research, I developed storyboard. This storyboard focuses on how a user would interact with the app and how the four core factors in habit formation - Trigger, Action, Reward, and Investment - would influence their usage. Each frame of the storyboard captures one of these four stages. By visualizing the user's journey through these four stages, the storyboard helps to ensure that the app is designed to promote habit formation and long-term engagement.

Usability Testing Summary
The Usability Testing of NutriTrack included 6 participants who performed 9 tasks in the time of 20 to 60 mins.
The interface, visual appeal, and colours of the app were well appreciated by all the participants. The navigation and clickable element were clear there was no high level frustration or confusion in the participants using the prototype. Participants felt that the platform will help them achieve their task with investing less time. Another element acknowledged by the user was the scanning feature and various other features that would help them log food easily. Among the participants there were 2 who have used other calorie tracking application, so this enabled me to do competitive analysis as well.

Usability Test Plan
To evaluate usability, participants in the test completed tasks outlined in a detailed plan. This plan included warm-up and ending questions, alongside specific tasks. Participant data was recorded directly on the plan. Afterwards, a consolidated feedback sheet summarized findings for each task, based on participant responses.
Reflections
• Following a structured model like the 5 Elements and Double Diamond can lead to products that are user-centric
and well-planned in terms of their functionality.
• This project highlighted the importance of identifying and validating risky assumptions about any product before launch, as it can save a lot of time and effort.
•. Using methods like Kano Cards, MoSCoW, and the Hooked Model helps create a product that's focused on the
core problem and avoids feature clutter.
•. Conducting thorough usability testing helped me remain uninfluenced by my own biases and focus on developing a user-centric product.
